O International Women’s Day (IWD),Dia Internacional da mulher, era conhecido originalmente como International Working Women’s Day, que é celebrado todo ano no dia 8 de Março. Em diferentes regiões o foco das celebrações varia de uma celebração de apreciação, respeito e amor para com as mulheres e suas conquistas econômicas, politicas e sociais. Abaixo temos 4 breves biografias de mulheres que marcaram a história , e por que não dizer mulheres que mudaram o mundo? Em cada biografia existem palavras que devem ser encontradas na nossa wordsearch.

J.K.Rowling (1965 – ) J.K.Rowling is the author of the PHENOMENAL best selling HARRY POTTER series. The volume of sales was so high, it has been credited with leading a revival of reading by CHILDREN. She wrote the first book as a SINGLE MOTHER, struggling to make ends meet, but is now one of the most successful self-made WOMAN.

Marilyn Monroe (1926 – 1962) Her real name was Norma Jean Baker. Marilyn rose from CHILDHOOD poverty to become one of the most iconic film legends. Her films were moderately SUCCESSFUL, but her lasting fame came through her photogenic GOOD LOOKS and aura of glamour and sophistication.
