As “nursery rhymes” são cantigas ou parlendas que todos os pais, avós e tios cantam para as crianças pequenas. As músicas são passadas de geração em geração e em inglês não é diferente. A palavra “nursery” significa “berçário” e “rhymes“, “rima“. Algumas também poder ser chamadas de “lullabies”, que são canções de ninar (vejam mais aqui). Mas podemos traduzir as “nursery rhymes” como “cantigas infantis“.
Vamos conhecer algumas famosas nursery rhymes em inglês?
Uma delas é “A tisket, a tasket”, que é um jogo de palavras. A letra é a seguinte:
